Privacy Policy

DARE is built privacy-first. By default, everything happens on your own device.

What stays on your device

• Your conversations, transcripts, and coaching history are processed and stored locally on your device.
• The AI model that powers coaching runs on-device — your words are not sent to our servers.
• We do not require an account, and we do not collect your conversation content.

Optional cloud models

You may optionally connect a third-party cloud model (such as Claude or OpenAI) for higher-quality coaching. If you enable this, the text you send for coaching is transmitted to that provider, subject to their privacy terms. This is off by default and entirely your choice.

Sign in with Apple

If you sign in, we receive a stable Apple user identifier (and, on first sign-in, optionally your name/email) solely to associate the app with you. We do not sell or share this information.

Analytics & crash reporting

We may collect anonymous, aggregate diagnostics (e.g., crash reports) to improve reliability. These never include your conversation content.
